San Lorenzo is a medium-sized coastal town (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of California. With a population of 24,695 people and six constituent neighborhoods, San Lorenzo is the 288th largest community in California.

Housing costs in San Lorenzo are among some of the highest in the nation, although real estate prices here don't compare to real estate prices in the most expensive communities in California.

Unlike some towns, San Lorenzo isn’t mainly white- or blue-collar. Instead, the most prevalent occupations for people in San Lorenzo are a mix of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, San Lorenzo is a town of sales and office workers, service providers and professionals.
